please feel free to ask questions at any time either by typing/speaking up

30:49
Do they interact through the media?

51:13
is the formation of the central cluster connected to the induced vortical flow?

53:33
Could the symmetry breaking in the direction of rotation be influenced by the previous step of centrifugation?

57:52
Will the ordering and synchronization be also destroyed by adding surfactants?

01:01:06
is it possible that the nematodes release some kind of surfactant that affects \gamma_lg? This is not unusual e.g. for microorganisms

01:03:05
Is the force produced by the nematodes at the border also equal to the centripetal force needed for the rotation? Could you compare them?

01:06:59
please stay for discussion and questions at the end of the talk. we have 15 minutes set aside specifically for this.

01:07:47
(so if I did not ask your question properly, you will have the opportunity to do so yourself)

01:14:27
Regarding synch model: have you tried to just use a model similar to the synchronising waving sheets by Taylor?

01:16:35
I guess my previous question can be reformulated as: could you decouple in your experiments the size of the drop from its contact angle? I would expect that the force that the nematodes impose on the boundary decreases as the radius of the droplet increases

01:18:10
Thank you for a fascinating talk! I have to leave for another meeting at the top of the hour unfortunately —

01:19:03
thank you Sonya. did you have a question? then we could take it right after this.
